My tan is peeling just came back from bermuda help!?

i went on a cruise last week and got a nice tan but got home on thursday and now my shoulders are peeling my chest, my stomach and my face. I have been using aloe like crazy since friday and im paranoid my skin is going to stay lookn crazy like with whites spots or something. Ugh any body been thru this or have any adivce? I cant even wear tank tops rights now cuz im so embarrassed =(
