Is it ok to feed my dog in the morning rather than the night?

I posted this question before and got a whole lot of opinionated answers, I want educated ones instead please, I've been feeding her once a day for the last 3 and a half years( she's 4 but vet said until 12weeks old feed her 3 times daily , then twice daily till 6 months then once daily after that) she's a 15kg cattle dog, kelpie,staffy, foxy mix she's not skinny or starved, she has a tin layer of fat over her ribs muscly arms and legs, her spine and hips doesn't stick out , gets fed 2cups of food a day, gets walked twice daily and gets a small amount of chicken in the mornings, so anyone who wants to write that I'm not looking after her properly in your opinion, ur answer will be reported, if your answer seems medically and logically correct I will listen to you
