How to use stitch witchery without an iron?

Jeans are fairly thick and the stitch may not work or will work for a while. Since it is jeans you can just cut it down into shorts using pinking shears. You can go around the cut you made using the sewing machine and using the zigzag stitch just above it or the one part of the stitching right at the very end of the material. This will keep your shorts from fraying and loosing a lot of the threads.
