How to convince my dad to let me buy clip in hair extensions?

My parents say i spend too much time primping and doing my hair, but its because my hair is super curly and frizzy and can NOT wear it normal. i have saved up the money to buy "foxy lox clip in extensions" but my mom said "yes if your dad agrees" and my dad said no.
